第一届VIP MFA在线艺博会明日开幕

　　由VIP在线艺博会推出的首届VIP MFA艺博会将于明日正式亮相，展会将一直持续至6月8日。VIP MFA是首个致力于支持和鼓励年轻艺术家进入艺术市场的评审式在线艺博会。随着各国艺术院校的学生们开始筹备他们的艺术硕士毕业展，VIP MFA也将着力展示由最有天赋的艺术硕士们创作的优秀作品。

　　由六位世界知名的评委组成的评审团从一批邀请参加和公开征集的申请者中挑选出了100位艺术家参加展会。至申请截止日止，共有来自25个国家58所学校的380位年轻艺术家被他们的导师甄选出来代表他们的学校，这其中包括了格拉斯哥艺术学校、 Sir JJ School of Art(印度)、Escola de BelasArtes/UFRJ(巴西)以及美国视觉艺术学院(SVA)等等。被评委挑选出来的艺术家可以在VIP MFA上展出5至10件作品，连同他们的艺术家声明和每件作品的简要介绍一起(当然，展出作品都是可以出售的)。另外，评审团还将从这100位艺术家中挑选出最佳的三位进行奖励，第一、二、三名连同他们的学院一起会分别获得1.5万美元、1万美元和5000美元的奖金。

　　组成评审团的六位评委分别是来自White Columns的Matthew Higgs、来自ICI的Kate Fowler、来自Wattis Institute的Jens Hoffmann、来自Hunter College的Joachim Pissarro以及艺术家戴安娜·阿尔-哈迪德(Diana Al-Hadid)和张鸥。VIP在线艺博会的首席执行官Lisa Kennedy表示：“VIP MFA将年轻艺术家与我们正不断壮大的收藏家与当代艺术经销商群体联系在了一起。由他们的导师提供支持再由评委进行审核——这些学生将会以新一代人的代表的身份影响艺术界的现状，他们很快将被策展人、批评家以及学者要求来共享他们的洞察力。”
