袁熙坤

　　1944年8月出生于昆明，祖籍贵州。第七届全国青联常委，第十一届全国政协常委，联合国首任环保艺术大师，2011年全国五一劳动奖章获得者。现任：北京金台艺术馆馆长、中国收藏家协会名誉会长、中国艺术研究院研究员、俄罗斯美术研究院荣誉院士。

　　在绘画创作中，以简练的笔法表现丰富的感觉，把中国画六法中的“气韵生动”融入西洋画中，其独具强烈民族风格的油画被西方专业人士称为“东方油画”。近年来，创作的国际名人雕塑已被日本、希腊、俄罗斯、美国、波兰、斯洛伐克、意大利、保加利亚、肯尼亚等国政府、国际组织和博物馆收藏安放;

　　袁熙坤为中国艺术带来了国际性声誉，是中国文化在艺术造型领域走出国门的代表性人物。

　　Yuan Xikun

　　Born in August, 1944 in Kunming City, Yuan Xikun’s ancestral home is actually Guizhou province. Presently, he is a member of the Standing Committee of the 7th All-China Youth Federation, member of the 11th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), first UN environmental protection artist, curator of the Jin Tai Art Museum in Beijing, Honorary Chairman of China Association of Collectors, researcher in Chinese National Academy of Arts, Honorary Academician in Russian Academy of Fine Arts.

　　During the process of artistic creation, he has been using simple strokes to express his different kinds of feelings. He has combined the element of “vivid charm” in the six methods of Chinese paintings with the western painting. His works are called “eastern oil painting” by the professionals in the west due to their strong national style of the east. In recent years, his sculptures of the famous people are collected and displayed by many the Japanese, Greek, Russian, American, Polish, Slovakian, Italian, Bulgarian and Kenyan governments, international organizations and museums.

　　Ruan Yikun has brought international fame for Chinese art. He is one of the representatives who has lead Chinese art going out onto international stage.
